Welcoming Stranger (Simplified Chinese Discovery Series Booklet)

For many people, a stranger is someone they've never met. While it may feel awkward to establish a friendship with a newcomer, once we do, we are no longer strangers. However, there is another kind of stranger. We feel strange toward these people not only because we don't know them, but also because of inner barriers that prevent us from getting to know them. Because they make us uncomfortable, we avoid conversation and deliberately ignore them.
This booklet urges us to carefully consider how we respond when we encounter "strangers." Do we view these encounters as opportunities given by God to demonstrate God's care, love, and the hope of the gospel? Are we willing to imitate God and welcome these strangers with the warmth and love that the Bible instructs?
